If what you want is already within you, why not clear the pathway to enable you to enjoy what is clearly possible?
These simple exercises will allow you to free yourself from concerns and provide you with a positive outlook.
Here’s the first exercise. Practicing regular deep breathing can be enormously beneficial and get your day off to an energetic yet start.
Being in a relaxed state and having clarity of mind is obviously more than useful. These breathing exercises are not only useful to get you going they also help with stress-related health problems.
First Exercise – Inhale and exhale rapidly through your nose, keeping your mouth closed, but relaxed.
Your breaths in and out should be equal in duration, but as short as possible.
Go for three in-and-out breaths per second.
This produces a quick movement of the diaphragm.
Then breathe normally for a couple of seconds and go again.
Do this for about 15 seconds on your first try.
Then each day increase your time by five seconds, until you reach a full minute. You are likely to feel invigorated, and get an energy boost.
Second Exercise – Here’s a second breathing exercise and it is my favourite.
I do this three times first thing every day.
Breathe in really deeply and when you exhale make it twice as long as the intake.
Really release all the breath.
As you do this make a sighing sound.
Get physically involved. Remember your physiology leads your psychology.
What happens when you sigh?
You send a message to your brain that you are relaxed!
Do this three times first up every day.
Probably it’s best done at home rather than on the train!
These are noisy breathing exercise, so make sure you do them in public!
